Description

New Resident Orientation Retreats - Held at Walker Creek Ranch, these two-day retreats are designed to welcome residents into I-House's unique global community through cultural exchange, group activities and intercultural skill-building. Previous residents have voted the New Resident Orientation Retreat the most effective and fun way to meet fellow residents and make new friends, all while enjoying the great outdoors!

Note that activities are subject to change depending on weather condition.

When: January 24-25, 2020 ( Friday-Saturday)
Depart from I-House at 11:30am, return to I-House no later than 5:00pm

Where: Walker Creek Ranch in Petaluma

Who: New residents, resident leaders (and a few staff)

What: Two-day retreat that includes outdoor and indoor activities, info sessions and a bonfire!

Why: The retreat has three simple goals: to have fun, make friends and to learn how to make the most of the I-House experience.

A registration fee of $45 covers your transportation, overnight lodging (bunk beds/dorm style) and meals. If you need any accommodations for any disability or have any dietary constraints, please indicate accordingly when you register. To help you prepare, a packing list and agenda will be shared with all participants ahead of the retreat. Please check your email, including your spam folder.

The orientation retreats are open to new residents and a limited number of returning residents. If the retreat is full, please register for a "WAITLIST" ticket. We will notify you immediately once space becomes available.
